Why Your Business Needs A Newsletter (and how I can help)

If you’ve been thinking, “How can I help my business grow?”, “What can I do
to reach out to more people?”….Well, I’m here to help and I have the answer (or
I feel I do 🙂 )

Newsletters can be a great way to reach out to people and keep in touch with all
that’s going on in your business. Talking about what you do, letting people get
to know the person behind the scenes, specials you might want to promote or
just keeping in touch. People enjoy a few minute read and they are staying in
touch with you.

You stay top of mind when you send these out consistently….and not in a
negative way. They’re more likely to think of you when someone is needing
your service or ready to buy your product or even if they’re needing help. You’ll
come to their minds first. They get to know you and you’re building a rapport
with them.

Here’s a few of my thoughts as to why you might consider newsletters, even
just to keep in touch….

***Building Relationships and Trust – A newsletter gives you a regular
connection with your audience. You get to share how you got to where you are
in your business and what you do; end result, you’re building relationships and
a sense of familiarity over time. It teaches – even if in a subtle way – that you
know your stuff. People can relate to you. They trust you.

***Promoting Offers – Monthly, if you choose to write once a month or more,
you can promote sales or highlight some of your existing services. Newsletters
are a gentle nudge to your audience to take some action whether they come
visit your business, book a call or tell friends about your services.

***Promotes You as an Expert – When you share tips, how-to’s, or common
mistakes to avoid, it shows that you know what you’re doing. As time goes on,
this builds credibility and attracts clients who relate with you. You’re offering real value to them. They might even give you a testimonial and voila, your visibility gets boosted!

***Storytelling – Unlike social media posts that disappear in a scroll,
newsletters stay in your client’s inbox. They can be read and re-read many
times without getting lost. It gives you a place to share stories, lessons you’ve
learned, your behind the scenes wisdom from your experience. All this
humanizes your business and makes you relatable to your readers.
Relationships are built.

***Consistency – Sending a newsletter on a regular basis shows that your
business isn’t a hobby – it’s a business. You’re building credibility and
reliability with your readers. As you show up constantly in your client’s inbox
with helpful ideas, they see you as their go-to when they need your service or
maybe know a friend who could use your services, too, and forward it to
them.

A short monthly newsletter can go far in helping out your business. What’s
stopping YOU? 🙂
