REASONS YOU NEED A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

There are many reasons why we, as virtual assistants, can help you with tasks that are keeping you from working at your business. We are such a helpful bunch and it’s just in us to want to do this. Anything to help simplify your business life.

I realize to some of you, that the tasks we take on, you look at them as being monotonous and boring,…. but, to us we enjoy it. It could be because we do other jobs throughout the day and helping clients like yourself puts our minds in a different space.

It challenges us but in a different way than it does you. Here are ways (and trust me, there are many more) that a virtual assistant, like myself, can help you to grow your business.

  1. We can manage your emails by helping direct them to where they need to go instead of just being in your inbox. They aren’t meant to stay in the inbox. It’s not a holding tank. I can create neat folders to put them in so you can find an email from someone specific quicker than scrolling through your inbox. Setting up email automation makes your inbox a well oiled machine.

  2. Data entry is one area I hear people complain about having to do. Myself, I find it very methodical. This helps by reducing the need for physical storage by digitizing and reduces the risk of your data being lost. Having your data organized allows quick access to your information. I don’t know about you, but I’d hate having to look for something and it’s not where I thought it should be! This also makes remote work easier.

  3. Proofreading and editing are two skills I find that are highly needed. Everywhere I see text, spelling is horrendous! It promotes your professionalism when there’s accuracy in your written content. My attention to detail will help create positive impressions for you as I show attention to all detail and my commitment to your quality.

  4. Bookkeeping and expense tracking can help get your receipts in order for your bookkeeper/ accountant. Inputting these keeps them from wanting to pull out their hair come tax time! I know a couple of these people and they absolutely love it when you’re on top of this. Staying on top of your expenses might allow you to realize you have more money somewhere that you didn’t even see! Also, it’s good practice to get in by sending us your receipts. I can absolutely help you with keeping ahead of the “receipt pile up.

  5. Creating invoices and billing – this is another area that takes precious time away from you, the business owner, that could be put in a more productive way. Wouldn’t it be nice to see money coming in and not have had to do the tedious part of writing and sending the invoice? Of course it would!!

  6. Organizing and storing passwords securely is a bit of a timely task but we can help set up a secure site that keeps all your passwords in one area and all you have to do is remember ONE password to open up this password manager. ONE. I hear sighs of relief….

  7. I remember speaking to a new friend and she told me her employer changes passwords on a monthly basis. She has a book that she keeps all these in and my gosh!!….she would be totally lost if that book went missing. This could help her out hugely! (She’ll know who she is when she reads this 🙂 ) I can set up the password manager, you input your passwords (a few of them so you get the idea of how to do it) and then the rest is history! No worries if your computer crashes with all your passwords on it, which would seriously happen if you don’t have a cloud based manager set up.

  8. Last but definitely not the least reason you really could use a virtual assistant’s services….When you don’t need another employee on your payroll, we come in to help.

I have a simple solution. You buy blocks of time from me. They’re good for a year. Use them for whatever services I provide whenever you need. I’ll keep you updated each week as to the amount you have left. Easy peasy!!

Outsourcing to a virtual assistant, like myself, will create a much needed efficiency to you and your business. It’ll save you in the end and you’ll see that in the long term.
